| I am—Joe DiBianca. Thanks for visiting my website. Here’s a little background info about me.
I grew up in Philly, where my small, thin frame attracted the attention of neighborhood bullies. I endured some pretty consistent bullying and teasing until I was 15 years old—when I discovered the gym. It was a discovery that literally changed my life.
I quickly fell in love with working out. First, it made me feel good. And after a short time, I couldn’t help but notice the change in my physique. Feeling and looking good—it’s a very positive combination, and my self-confidence soared. Soon I was no longer the target of bullies, but a confident and secure young man looking forward to a bright future.
After graduating from high school, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Temple University in Philadelphia. But the p assion for working out, for achieving the optimal level of personal fitness, never left me. I’ve participated in fitness competitions for more than 25 years—I’ve won several bodybuilding titles, including Mr. Philadelphia and Mr. Pennsylvania, and I broke 3 state records on the way to winning my weight class (183 lbs) at the Pennsylvania State Powerlifting Championships.
As I’m sure you know, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer. I’m currently working with Universal Nutrition in East Brunswick, NJ. As part of their "Animal Pak" training team, I travel from gym to gym teaching, training, and promoting fitness in our region.
I love what I do. I love teaching, and I love the camaraderie that develops when you work together to achieve goals. I want other people experience the same revelation I had as a 15-year old—that working hard on physical fitness makes you look and feel better, leading to improvements in all facets of life. Emphasis on working hard. I possess an old-school, hardcore attitude toward training—I believe in pushing yourself to achieve results. If you work with me, you will achieve the results you desire—and you’ll have fun doing it.
Thanks for reading about me, and for your interest.
